Kids at Work Program operates under Aspire, Youth and Family, Inc., a non-profit organization.  The program is designed to provide youth with Culinary and Interpersonal skills between the ages of 12 and 17.  Kids at Work operates in 12 Western North Carolina Counties. In order to operate the program, Kids at Work Program as received private donations and grant funds from Juvenile Crime Prevention Councils, and several other grand awards throughout the state of North Carolina.

Staff for this program consists of a Interpersonal skills coach, a professionally trained culinary arts instructor and a vocational coach. Their job is not only help the client get better but teach them the skills to better themselves through developing the skills to gain employement, eat healhy, and develop and use coping skills. 

Covenant has supported this program for over two years. They meet on Thursdays from 4 pm to 7 pm during the school year.  They also prepare and cook our Community Lunches! Pastor Larry enjoys his time with this group each Thursday and they have joined us in worship as well!
